What I do: I analyse data about the status of the poorest 20% of people as part of DI’s P20 Initiative, with a particular focus on disaggregation by wealth quintile, gender, geography, age, and disability. I also interpret household surveys and administrative systems to track poverty, malnutrition and civil registration and vital statistics. Additionally, my work analyses the data required to foster inclusive development with a focus on excluded populations and those at risk of being left behind.
Previous experience: Prior to working at Development Initiatives, I worked on a number of issues related to Sustainable Development Goals indicators, open data, grassroots development and transparency. I’ve worked on these issues in Kosovo, Haiti, and Uganda. I received an MA in Politics from Princeton University and a BA in Political Science from Brigham Young University.
