Harpinder Collacott appointed to Bond board

DI’s Executive Director Harpinder Collacott has joined the board of Bond, the UK network for organisations working in international development.

As one of ten elected trustees, Harpinder will contribute to setting the strategy for Bond and supporting the organisation in its goal: to help eradicate global poverty, inequality and injustice.

With a membership of more than 400 civil society organisations, Bond is the largest international development network in the UK. The NGO aims to strengthen and champion the sector to make international development more efficient and effective.

Harpinder said: “I am delighted to join the board of Bond. Bond plays a important leadership role representing the UK’s international development organisations and giving them a voice in critical policy discussions. I am keen to bring in the perspective of organisations outside of London to the Bond board and support the charity to continue to successfully represent the interests of its members.”
