Communications Officer

Our Global Humanitarian Assistance (GHA) programme which maps humanitarian aid flows and provides access to data and analysis is currently recruiting for a Communications Officer for our office in Somerset.

You will contribute to the goals of the programme by helping to develop and deliver our communications strategy.  You will represent and present our work at events and lead on a range of communications and multimedia projects, arrange interviews and press releases, manage the production of our reports, help us develop our website and provide editorial and writing support and advice to the team.

You may have a background in PR, communications or economic/financial journalism, but you will have at least 3 years practical communications experience within the development or aid sector and/or a keen interest and proven experience in development issues.

So, if you are looking for a challenge and want to be part of a pioneering programme of work and have a genuine desire to eliminate global poverty, then please take some time to read the job description for further details on the role and how to apply.
